WHEN AND HOW TO APPLY BarleyBac™ 

BarleyBac™ is an all-natural formulation of beneficial microbes and enzymes, specially formulated with a powdered barley carrier. These microbes naturally metabolize the excess nitrogen and phosphorus thus greatly improving the water quality. Furthermore, with the innovation of barley as a carrier, BarleyBac™ will help with the overall water quality due to the natural benefits of barley within the pond's ecosystem. BarleyBac™ is not a poison; it works by reducing the nutrients to a normal level. Furthermore, BarleyBac™ also greatly accelerates the digestion of organic waste on the pond bottom and the suspended solids which create odor and murky water in a pond. Results may occur within the first few applications. Bottom organic waste and odor may be reduced by 2-3" per year!

Beware: there are many different formulations on the market that claim to contain the most microbes per gram. However, more microbes per gram mean NOTHING! Most companies claiming this are adding microbes that are useless in the pond's ecosystem. This is nothing more than a sales tactic.
