The use of pond dye is one preventative measure that can be used to help control the growth of aquatic weeds. These dyes work on the light reduction principle. By reducing the amount of light penetration into the water, the dyes effectively reduce weed growth. Early season application is critical. To apply, simply  pour liquid dye into pond.

Apply to pond every 4-6 weeks
