RUSHES

Rushes are grass-like herbaceous, usually perennial, clumping plants. Over 25 species occur in a wide range of habitats. The stems are usually unbranched with alternate leaves. The leaf blades are either flat or semi-flat. The flowering inflorescence is terminal on the stems. If necessary, control with Rodeo and Cide-Kick. Cut dead plants or seasonal die-back with the Aquatic Weed Eradicator.
